2020

Diminishing Landscapes is part of an ongoing research about people’s connection to the land and its diminishing form due to environmental change and excessive construction. Latifa Saeed explores identity through land within an evolving country.
She has documented and accumulated earth sediment from geographical points around the United Arab Emirates and encased them within glass panels. Some sites may be visited today using the geographic points mentioned below. Other sites no longer exist and have been buried or dug up for construction.
