The Rocking sculpture addresses the creation of artificial Islands along the coastline of Dubai. The sculpture’s imbalance creates a continuous rocking motion causing wave patterns in the water held by the glass. The water leaks out of the Island base creating a cycle representing a metaphor of continuous transformation and displacement.
